Mo Ali, 24 hours as a director: Advice for Film-makers

Up at 6am, back home at 1am and in bed by 3am. A director's 16 hour day includes, meeting with the asistant director and director of photography, making the actors feel comfortable, checking their costumes and make-up, reviewing the shoot in the evening, reading the script for the next day and mentally planning for any possible challenges. For a fast shoot this is every day for one month!
