Meeting fortnightly BoldFace Film Focus supports a network of young film-makers, generates ideas and improves skills.

Q&A with film director Marc Price, writer and director of amongst other films, COLIN, a zombie movie that went on to win Raindance Best Micro-Budget Film 2009, Raindance nomination for Best Independent Film 2009, and Official Selection for FrightFest 2009 and 2010. Quiz him on how to produce a film on a low budget, working with actors, fight scene and developing your work as film-makers.

Q&A with Exec Producer of acclaimed C4 documentary

From conception to completion, looking at the critically acclaimed documentary The Ground Zero Mosque (broadcast on C4), Ray Bruce, Executive Producer will take you through each stage of documentary production. A Q&A will follow. This is a great workshop for those interested in documentary film. You will learn what it takes to win a pitch to C4 commissioners, the challenges of production and the ethics of portraying sensitive and topical issues.

How to write a comedy script.

Paul Alexander has written for Radio, TV and film, including episodes of Emmerdale (ITV), Life of Riley (BBC1), Horrid Henry (ITV), My Parents are Aliens (ITV) and Red Dwarf (BBC2). Films include S Club 7,Seeing Double! This workshop will give you tips on writing for comedy, what works, what doesn't and what being a freelance scriptwriter entails.
